Production Process
How our process works...
All orders placed (whether by phone, mail or email) will be verified via personal phone call by myself (Seth Laam) before a production date is given. He will personally review your order and see what your goals are before finalizing your form. From there, you will discuss the best payment option that suits you.
Full payment is due upon date of production. We do not require a full payment for your seat until the seat is actually ready to ship.
A 72 hour turn around time?
With any other motorcycle seat manufacturing company, when you are assigned a production date, you typically send your seat to arrive on or close to the date assigned. You wait weeks to hear from the company only to find out that your seat is in production and will ship “soon”, and then you wait even longer.
This is where we excel! Firstly, we don’t exceed our production level – that is the purpose of a “production date”. Production should only take a full work day, or two at most. We run on a 72 hour business day production period, meaning if your seat(s) arrive on time, they are logged in as received and are immediately brought into production.
Prepping the seat for new foam is the first process (please refer to the Foam Vs Gel Page) followed immediately by each next step. Never will a seat sit and collect dust until we get a call. Certain restrictions apply to over-sized seats, material back-ordering issues or unidentified seats. In these cases you will be notified by both email and telephone if there are any hold-ups in the production process.
Getting your seat back to you...
When your seat is boxed and ready to ship, you will receive a tracking number via email and/or phone. If you have any shipping preferences we will take them into consideration before your seat ships back to you. We use a combination of different shipping carriers to cut down on the cost of shipping. Additionally, both our boxes and packaging are 100% recycled to cut down on waste.
